Pre-Season Party
Through its links with Cartier, The Polo Agency has long been associated with organising the pre-Cartier polo party and has a proven formula for successfully bringing the polo community together with commercial sponsors. So when better to do this than at the start of the season. The evening party is being staged at a private club in the heart of London and will be an invitation only glamorous occasion for players, the polo community, high net worth individuals and guests of sponsors. It presents an early opportunity for a strictly limited number of sponsors to showcase their products close up with maximum discretion and allows each sponsor to entertain a number of guests in a relaxed and informal setting.

The Polo Agency Silver Cup
This exclusive ‘invitation only’ private polo day is being held at Coworth Park (tbc) in May at the start of the season for some 300 guests. Our very own Henry Brett, (former Captain of the England team) will be selecting the most exciting medium goal players for the match. Title Sponsorship includes naming rights to the event, sponsorship of a team and 100 guest invitations. It presents an ideal platform for a commercial partner seeking to establish their own event rather than buy into an existing one. In addition to the Headline Sponsorship, other category specific sponsorship opportunities are also available.

The Audi Polo Awards
These are the Oscars for the Polo world in the northern hemisphere. Held in the early part of the season, this black-tie ‘not to be missed’ event is for all those involved in the polo community and is an opportunity to meet and mix with key people within the industry. Sponsorship of individual awards with naming rights is on a category exclusive basis. Sponsorship of individual awards also includes a table for ten guests and an opportunity to showcase your brand.

Polo in the Park
Now in its second year, Polo in the Park is the first and only major polo tournament to be staged in Central London since 1939. Launched in 2009 at The Hurlingham Club, one of London’s most exclusive private members clubs, teams representing New York, London, Buenos Aires and Moscow competed in front of sell-out audiences totalling in excess of 25,000 spectators over the three-day event. The event is destined to become a unique part of the polo calendar and the opportunity exists to come in at ground level. A number of sponsorship packages exist including that of Title Sponsor, where a long-term partner is being sought.

The Queen’s Cup
The Queen’s Cup is the largest European open polo tournament in the polo calendar and held every year at Guards Polo Club, Europe’s largest Polo Club. It is regularly attended by Her Majesty The Queen and Prince Phillip and in 2010 The Queens’ Cup celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Played in June, this is the most significant tournament of its kind and currently, is without a major headline sponsor. Therefore, the rare opportunity exists for the right partner to enter at the highest level and benefit from an established and proven event that has boasted an audience in excess of 8000 high net worth individuals, and is most likely to be attended by Her Majesty The Queen on Finals day. The partnership package is considerable.

The Westbury Shield
This is the third year of a rare event indeed. The tournament offers sponsors an association with Royalty, at an exclusive private polo club near London during June. You will be among a select party of some of the world’s most influential, rich and successful businessmen and patrons and be included in the presentation team to the two Princes. Several partnership opportunities exist from sponsoring the ‘Most Valuable Player’ to the Associate Partner of the event. In 2009 the day raised in excess of £50,000 for the Princes’ Charitable Trusts, which further enhances its standing within Royal circles.

The Cartier International
This is the premier one-off polo event of the season, in its 26th year and held at Guards Polo Club during the last Sunday of July. For any sponsor wishing to gain maximum public exposure, this is one of the key days with which to be associated. Sponsorship of a team gives branding and PR exposure together with a significant hospitality package. The morning game sees two teams battle it out for the Golden Jubilee Trophy. The Prince of Wales Team is seeking a new sponsor for the day. Having worked closely with Guards Polo Club for the past ten years, The Polo Agency is well placed to discuss and advise on the available sponsorship packages.

Quintessentially Polo
First introduced in 2007 by The Polo Agency, this annual event will take place at Coworth Park (tbc) in September 2010.
Quintessentially is the global luxury lifestyle group, which assists members to access the very best of everything, making this a unique partnership opportunity. Guests will be drawn from Quintessentially members, the exclusive Polo Agency database and those invited by chosen partners.
Title Sponsorship for the commercial partner in association with Quintessentially includes invitations for up to 100 guests, all the usual ancillary benefits and additional publicity within and to Quintessentially members through their website and magazine.

The Polo Agency Shield
This new end-of-season private day gives the selected Headline Partner the opportunity to mould an event to meet their specific objectives. The Polo Agency will manage all aspects of the programme and make available its considerable resources and exclusive database. A maximum of 300 guests will be entertained in a relaxed and stylish manner with 100 of these being guests of the main sponsor. The all-inclusive fee for Headline Sponsorship is available at £60k. Other opportunities exist such as Team Sponsorship and Best Playing Pony, which provide alternative discreet entertainment packages.
